Road Lighting
The road lighting shall be designed in accordance with the lighting standards for main urban trunks, which specify the luminance evenness of 0.35Lmin/Lav, mean luminance of 1.5d/m2，mean illuminance of 15LX, and illuminance evenness of 0.35Lmin/Lav.
The lighting fixtures shall be powered with leads connected to the 10Kv urban power network as near as possible. Light chopping fixtures shall be employed with sodium lamps as the general choice. Power specification for each fixture shall be 250w. The lamp shall be supported with a tapered hexagonal metallic rod 10-12m in height. The street lamps shall be arranged in symmetry on both sides with intervals of 30m. Three control methods including manual control, light control, and time control shall be offered. In addition, automatic control for all-night and half-night service modes shall be available to save the power consumption.
Transformers in addition to switch cabinets for street lamps shall be mounted on outdoor poles. The transformers shall be selected as the S9-80/10 Enclosed Oil-Immersed Type.
